Life In Jesus' New Community

Part of our growth in Jesus is also realizing that we are part of a new community, the local church. It’s recognizing that this new community is part of my journey, it’s not just the place where I grow and take and receive, but it’s the place where I give and share and open myself up in service to others.

And it’s the discovery that as we serve others that we are in community with there is deeper growth in our lives. This is the gift of our journey with others. We realize that we need others, and that each of us—young and old, rich or poor—has something to offer the community as a whole.

At North Point we have to places where we gather to learn and grow and serve one another: Sunday Worship & LIFE Groups. Beyond that we want to encourage people to learn how to grow through their own spiritual practices as individuals & families, and then feel free people up to go and serve others in their schools, work places and neighbourhoods.
